When I installed SA on Windows 10 Pro it worked but years later when the hard drive died and I replaced it with an SSD and re-installed SA it would run and I could use the mouse on the menu screens but ingame the mouse had no effect. I fixed it by downloading the DLL file called: dinput8.dll drop it in to your main GTA SA folder where the .exe is. So i bought San Andreas a few days ago and i open it but once it gets to the start screen it wont let me use my mouse, it lets me move the cursor around but it wont click. So i can use the arrow keys to navigate through the start screen and the pressed start game. im in the game but it wont let me use my mouse AT ALL, so i cant look around and i cant shoot. all i can do is use W-A-S-D to move click it. unselect all cores. reselect "2" ( and only 2 ) ( it doesn't matter which one - although 0 might create some issues when the game crashes - don't quote me on that though :p ) then click taskmanager away and go back to your game. it will now recognize the mouse for the remainder of its acitve time. Locate your GTA San Andreas folder, as method 1 described. STEP 2: Go to your game in that folder named gta-sa, then right click it, and go to properties. STEP 3: Click the compatibility tab. STEP 4: Under compatibility mode, select what you have, mines windows 8. STEP 5: Click apply. Now try launching your game. it should now launch. What is wrong with my game, the keyboard works, but my mouse don't, nor the mouse steer and it's buttons it doesn't work I dunno what to do, I want to play, but it's quite impossible without the mouse please help. . does anybody know why the mouse does not work in game? because i cant punch, shoot or look in a different dirrection because the mouse does not work does anybody know how to fix this?
