Strangely enough, I have no issues with extreme night darkness in ETS2, but in ATS the nights are often jet black, to the point where - outside of my light beam - I cannot see anything at all except black. I've only seen such darkness during military exercises; when we were in a heavy canopy forest and it was totally overcast. Hey I've been looking for a solution on how to remove the turbo whistle high pitch sound. I found a reddit thread that said to extract the base.scs, find the turbo_int.ogg in the truck interior sound folder and mute it/delete it then pack it into .zip as a mod and activate it - which I did, but literally nothing happens, the annoying turbo whistle is still there. ks1313 Jan 21, 2013 @ 2:30pm. Just option to add bulb and only if it is burned out. you also need power to the lamp, by generator or power grid still on. if the lamp has a good bulb, you will get option to remove bulb. In order to add a light, it would require changing the model itself (I don't think the vanilla trucks have a light fixture modeled into them). Changing the model would take revising the license agreement between SCS and the individual truck manufacturers.
